Zoom has created a branded channel on YouTube for its bollywood based reality TV show Idea Bollywood Club. To participate, all people need to do is film their talent and upload a maximum 10 minute video to the page for Idea Bollywood Club at http://www.youtube.com/bollywoodclub on YouTube. The idea of the show itself is to provide a platform for artistes to find exposure for their talents.

It seems as if Google wants to pay more attention to video annotations and enhance the overall experience for users on Youtube. On the YouTube blog, the company has announced that it has acquired Omnisio, a small California-based startup that’s focused on making online video more useful and collaborative.

Google seems to be slowly rolling out new features into some of their services. Google, which originally began as a search engine, has now become a giant on the interwebs, trying its hand at every possible area. As of today, the giant has a 70% Market Share in the total search queries from the US.

‘Buzz Targeting’ is a product by Google that uses an algorithm to find videos that are likely to ‘Go Viral’. Videos could go viral due to a variety of means such as email, IM, bookmarking, social networks, blogs etc – due to the ‘transportable’ nature of YouTube’s videos.
