We are at the TIE-ISB Connect happening at ISB, Hyderabad and yesterday was day 1 of the conference where in workshops were conduction on raising funding and marketing strategy for startups.

Intel is now eying the growing market of Web 2.0 companies over the World Wide Web with new start ups coming up every single day. Most of the web-start ups are resource hungry websites that process vast amount of data and have large number of users. These companies need a strong and powerful infrastructure to back the activity that goes on through the sites. Intel is apparently trying to cash in on this factor and is aiming to power the systems that run these sites.
We have Rishabh on board today covering the first set of startups showcased at Proto 4. The session included six of them, primarily in the Web and Technology arena. Without further adieu, let’s let Rishabh rolling.

Sameer Guglani whose dvd rental startup Madhouse got funded for 1.05 crore and who later sold madhouse to Seventymm and joined them as VP-Corporate Strategy has now decided to quit Seventymm alongwith his Madhouse partner Nandini and start off a new venture.
