The statesman has reported that All-India-Radio, which is governed by the central government, has recently launched a multi-lingual website called News-On-Air. The site was launched on October 7th 2007.
With relation to the announcement of the launch, the News-On-Air website states:
“NSD has launched this new website in association with NIC with a host of new features [...]
Big 92.7 FM a part of the Reliance ADAG which is known for its afinity for going Digital (think zapak, bigadda and bigflicks). Even earlier Rajesh Sawney head of reliance entertainment had been open about his plans to take BigFM digital.
So BigFm has gone ahead and launched online podcasts for its radio shows in Bangalore! [...]
