Owing to the immense popularity of the Games, hundreds of conglomerates have been looking forward to make a quick killing during the event. One very notable tie up, in this regard, is between CCTV International Networks Ltd (CCTV.com) and Adobe Systems Inc, in their efforts to deliver the Games’ coverage through the web. Since CCTV.com happens to own the online video rights to the Olympic Games for mainland China and Macau, it promises to deliver the coverages to millions of sports fans in that area through their “Olympic Network TV Station”, a next generation online TV station based on Adobe Flash and Flex technology.
It seems as if Google wants to pay more attention to video annotations and enhance the overall experience for users on Youtube. On the YouTube blog, the company has announced that it has acquired Omnisio, a small California-based startup that’s focused on making online video more useful and collaborative.

It seems the success of World of Warcraft is getting onto the nerves of some of the other pronounced game publishing companies. Now, it’s Electronic Arts (EA) planning to come up with a subscription based online gaming model. I also remember EA planning to come up with the subscription based model for its mobile version too. The question here is, how would they structure the revenue model?

I just got informed by Bharatmatrimony that they too have tied up with Tata Sky and unlike Shaadi.com - Dishtv alliance have already launched the service on the Tata Sky yesterday itself. So as I write this blog the press conference is being held at chennai.


Its almost ironical that we mentioned in our post covering the shaadi and dishtv (which was done just an hour ago!) tie up that the reaction would come in the form of bharatmatrimony or jeevansaathi tying up with Tata Sky. Talk about hitting the nail on the head!
