Network 18 (Viacom 18) Launches Website For Its Hindi Channel – Colors
Being a big TV junkie that I am, it’s natural that I am waiting for the launch of Network 18’s Hindi General Entertainment Channel (GEC) Colors. That I am also a big fan of Akshay Kumar, who is doing a show on the channel, only adds spice to the matter. Plus, Network 18’s growth has been phenomenal. After having a CNBC TV18, CNN-IBN, MTV (Yess, Network 18 owns it). I am sure their channel will be a force to reckon with. Just received this news in the morning that Network 18 has launched a website around its upcoming channel colors

Web18 Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd, the Internet arm of Network18 Media and Investments Ltd is set to launch a horizontal portal, said two people familiar with the development (according to Livemint).
A horizontal portal refers to an Internet portal site that offers a broad range of content and services. Exampels could be Rediff, Yahoo!, MSN, AOL etc.
