As reported earlier, Mircosoft, with NDTV Media has started advertising on Facebook, in India. The Ad platform was launched in February 2008. Bolywood Humgama, Equity Master and HDFC Secutities were named as the publishing partners. Microsoft is already the ewxclusive advertising partner for Facebook in the United States. Of course they paid a bomb for this. But it’s a good strategy overall.
NDTV is the advertising partner and responsible for bringing the advertisers to the platform.

As a part of its endeavour to emerge as a thought leader in the New Media space, NDTV Convergence is organizing the New Media Congress in New Delhi on 8-May-2008.

On this, Sanjay Trehan, CEO, NDTV Convergence Ltd, said,

Microsoft has announced its own digital advertising platform for India which will provide display, rich media, contextual and video advertising solutions for its partners.
