Shyam telelink Gets CDMA Spectrum For Maharshtra and Kerela Circle.

this article in The Hindu Business Line Shyam Telelink has been allocated the spectrum to start CDMA service in Maharashtra. Shyam Telelink is partly owned by Russian conglomerate Sistema.
Shyam already has the spectrum for the following 12 circles :

In its latest recommendations TRAI has suggested - favoring the MNP implementation by June 2009 – licensing of Mobile Number Portability Clearing House Administrator (MCHA) through a competitive bidding process.

Google India has introduced voice search in Hyderabad. People in Hyderabad can now dial in to a toll free number 1 800 41 99 99 99. The Vodafone India subscribers will not ab able to use teh service as Vodafone dows not allow toll free numbers dialing. The service, smilar in offering to JustDial, will offer seach results for local business search.
