SKS Microfinance is one organization I have always been a fan of. Working on the model of microeconomics, SKS Microfinance has done quite well for itself, and more importantly, for thousands of poor living in villages. The way they worked and their policy of giving soft-loans to the women in villages had paid well in the past. And just when we have began to wonder how to fill the digital divide between those living in metros and those in villages, comes the news of Airtel partnering with SKS Microfinance to provide mobile service to those living in villages
