iXiGO.com which recently got funded has launched hotel search. Hotels has been a domain which first came into focus when travelguru shifted its focus from being a flight booking engine to a hotel booking engine. It was only natural for iXiGo which was primarily a search engine for flights to include hotels sooner or later. [...]

We had blogged about the Asia top 100 emerging companies list which was announced by red herring in August 2007. Now Red Herring has gone ahead and announced the global 200 list which will further be short listed to the final 100 and quite a few indian companies have penetrated this list.

Till now we have covered 2 travel search engines of WATBlog. They have been iXiGo.com which also got shortlisted in the Red Herring Global 100 Finalists and Zoomtra which is promoted by Smile Studio which also own Quasar and Tyroo.
