Was just looking through Facebook and noticed a feature called Facebook Chat on my Profile Page.
 
 
It basically follows an IM procedure where one can see which friends are online and ping them with instant messages.
 
 
The chats don’t get displayed on recipients’ walls.

This comes in via Mashable - Google has introduced a new widget (its more like a GTalk feature) and its called Chatback. Its function is pretty simple - it lets you embed GTalk into your blog or your website (well any website that allows modification of HTML at-least).
