Vodafone’s Indian Arm Posts 13.8 % Growth In Revenues; Expects Fierce Competition
Vodafone,world’s largest mobile phone operator by revenues has posted 13.8% revenue growth for its Indian operations. The revenues increased to £767 Million from £674 Million in a year ago period. Vodafone worldwide revenues rose 10.3% to to £11.5 billion.

Sify Financial Results: Consumer Business A Big Let Down
Sify Technologies, a Nasdaq listed player posted consolidated revenues of $121.62 million for FY2008-09 a mere 3% uptick from previous year.

Yahoo Financial Results: No Silverlining In Sight
Yahoo reported revenues of $1.58 billion for the quarter ended march-09 down 13 percent YoY.
The Net Income too tumbled down to $118 million down 78 percent YoY ,although previous quarter had an extra-income component of $401 million gain from an investment in Alibaba.Absent those proceeds, Yahoo’s first-quarter profit would have declined 16 percent.
