Tech, sex and romance has a great bonding. In near future I won’t be surprised if tech companies send their executives to a sex or a romance conferences/gatherings rather than a boring client meeting. Sex conventions are always considered to be medicinal/clinical and pornographic in nature. Now, social-media has given it a new dimension. It has helped people to create smaller, targeted gatherings that treat sexuality and technology as inseparable. In near future such sex conferences would gain more popularity and will drive more and more people.
Browsing through the Internet today, I came across the news of the NGO Nanhi Kali launching its new website http://www.girlsmiles.org . And using Social Media over the regular media. On opening up the website, I was greeted by the same design that I was a few weeks back, when me, Rupesh and Rajiv were admiring that website. The website uses the same concept of design.
As reported earlier, Mircosoft, with NDTV Media has started advertising on Facebook, in India. The Ad platform was launched in February 2008. NDTV is the advertising partner and responsible for bringing the advertisers to the platform.
Here’s another one of those innumerable uses of Facebook. TechCrunch UK reports how the greater Manchester Police has just launched a Facebook Application which gives users who add the application crime alerts to individual profiles and newsfeeds.

What was shown was an icon for one of the application called Hangman. Strangely, when I clicked on the application, it took me to a page called AppDirectory. I expected the Hangman application to be opened first.
