Apple iCloud Shrugs Off BETA Tag. Will Hover On 12th October
Apple’s cloud storage service iCloud is all set to go live on 12th October 2011. iCloud will debut along-with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 and iTunes 10.5, an update which coincidentally have iCloud support built-in.
Although Apple has not publicly confirmed the need for an updated “Lion” to run iCloud, developers have been testing the service using Mac OS X 10.7.2 (which is an unreleased edition).
