Spice has launched the Stellar Virtuoso Pro (Mi-491) along-with announcing cloud services for its Smartphones and tablets. Spice has introduced the Spice Cloud, a Mobile Synchronization Service which provides users the benefits for automatically and wirelessly storing and securing data. It also provides anti-theft features which help in protecting the user’s content and that helps them to locate the device later. The new service will be available with all flagship smartphones and tablets from the brand.
Like all cloud storage service, Spice Cloud provides an easy method for storing the files. The service provides the operation to access and share files, and the user also has the option of controlling the device remotely. The individual can also view particular Spice mobile buzz’s call logs via the service’s Web interface. The user has the option to wipe off all the data on the device in case the handset gets stolen. Spice Cloud provides the users with 2GB of free space and owners of Spice handsets can can sign up for the service at www.spicecloud.in.
The company also launched the Stellar Virtuso Pro MI-491, The Android Smartphone available for Rs. 7,999. This device arrives with the support of Spice Cloud service. The company’s latest smartphone in the Stellar series features a 4.5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) capacitive touch screen display. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and the device runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It Stellar Virtuoso Pro sports a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Additionally, it also provides Dual SIM support with Dual Standby. The device is packed with the preloaded feature Spice Cloud, which proves as a beneficial resource for the consumers.
The launch of this cloud storage mostly looks to target those users who opt for budget Android phones. Such an initiative will also result in forcing the other rival competitors to pull up their socks and act quickly or else be prepared to lose market to other forces. This device could face serious competition from the other Android Smartphones that are present in the Indian market. The competition especially will be fierce from the other home grown brands like Micromax, Karbonn etc.
