Job portal Shine.com has announced a strategic partnership with social recruitment platform MyParichay, integrating its services through social media network Facebook. The integration will enable recruiters to connect with the largely untapped set of jobseekers, most of which fall in the junior to mid-level hires. Similarly, this will allow users to leverage the power of Facebook and get in touch with the employer for a job.
The Shine MyParichay social bar enables a recruiter to be able to reach out to the personal networks of their employees, match the skills and requirements to those in the extended network, and use the referral feature to connect with potential candidates.

Launched in 2008, Shine.com claims to be the second largest job portal in the country with a candidate database of more than 1.2 crore and over 200,000 job openings on the site. Garg said that Shine.com on an average receives resumes in the range of 9,000 to 11,000 daily. Garg added that their last survey with candidates suggested that 65 per cent of respondents are more likely to use Facebook over LinkedIn for job search.
Last year in October, Shine.com partnered with MyParichay for better social recruitment and later, HT Media invested 40% in My Parichay. Social recruitment is growing by day and so are people on professional sites like LinkedIn, ApnaCircle etc.
