In today’s cut-throat world of performance oriented success stories, often we find companies joining hands together for their mutual advantage. This sometimes happens through collaboration and sometimes through acquisition. Today we have more news of the latter. Award winning Digital Marketing Agency Resultrix has been acquired by the Publicis Group, the Third Largest Communications Group in the World.
Resultrix, which was founded in 2008, grew very quickly in the Performance Marketing space. They managed to gain a foothold in several key markets like India and USA. Further, they have offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Singapore, Seattle and Dubai. Providing services like SEO, SEM and Analytics with their own set of Business Models, they had clientele like Emirates National Bank, Corbis Corporation, Bupa, Standard Chartered Bank, Airtel, Cleartrip, DBS Bank and others.
Resultrix will join the company Performics of the Publicis Group, while the founders Vidur Luthra and Gulrez Alam will continue to head the division.
Commenting on the acquisition, Vidur Luthra, CEO, Resultrix said, “We were founded on the belief that digital advertising provides the opportunity to disrupt the traditional media business models and this is a great opportunity to join a network that is renowned for being at the forefront of the industry. It allows us to realise our ambitions and leverage our skills, strengths and experience across a larger group footprint which is of huge benefit to our clients and teams.”
Global CEO for Performics, Daina Middleton, added, “Clients are demanding best-in-class specialized skills and seamless digital integration at scale. Resultrix has an impressive track record as a leading search and interactive services agency. Their highly sophisticated suite of digital solutions perfectly complements our offering and will solidify our leadership position around the world.”
With the acquisition, Performics hopes to redefine Performance Marketing across all relevant channels, devices and screens. Operating in 18 countries already, Performics will benefit from more tightly integrated services and a consistent global offering.
With India being the world’s 16th largest Advertising Market, we see such moves a welcome step to further our reputation worldwide. What do you think of the acquisition? Do let us know in the comments below.
