Syenergy Environics has announced a product in the form of a Chip, which the company claims to guard oneself from electronic radiation. Christened Enviro chip, the small Printed Circuit Board (PCB) chip when affixed on a “Specific Area”, will guard the humans & sensitive electronics against radiation which is supposedly harmful & is emitted constantly while the electronic device such as mobiles, WiFi Routers etc. are in use.
So, how does this Chip work?
Unlike the anti-radiation stickers commonly found on mobile phones, this chip is meant to work on Active hindrance techniques. When applied to the designated area, the chip operates between 500 to 600 THz which is much higher than the radiation emitted by theelectronic devices themselves. These random generated waves are supposed to hinder the emission & the company claims that the chip protects humans by making the emissions compatible with the body’s random waveforms. How exactly it happens is not yet clear. But, since the argument that “Radiation is harmful”, is yet to be settled, there are many blank spots that need to be addressed.
In the absence of proper education & thorough studies, fear is the main driving force behind inventions of such kind. Since Cellphone companies deny that their instruments cause cancer due to radiation, the product appears to be indirectly boycotted in retail stores. However, Spice Hotspots in New Delhi are selling these chips priced anywhere between Rs. 275 and Rs. 850 depending on the electronic device on which they are to be affixed. Despite the ban, Ajay Poddar, MD Syenergy Environics is optimistic & the company is developing a similar product for the smartphone category.
The Enviro chip is culmination of the company’s research on environmental radiations and their impact on health. Further, the chip was tested over 300 people for 1 month!
