Receives 2 Million Infusion From Inventus has secured a US$ 2 Million in series A funding from Inventus Capital Partners., which currently has physical presence in just New-Delhi & nearby regions plans to use these funds to expand its services across India. The company has plans to set-up offices in all Major Metros like Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai etc. to offer it specialized door-step services. eTechies will also focus on hiring people, setting up infrastructure in new sites and its marketing activities. As part of the deal, John Dougery and Parag Dhol of Inventus Capital will join the eTechies’ board.

It might be wise to let our readers know about eTechies verbatim as said by Rohit Chaudhary, CEO,, “ provides instant support at the door step or remote over the internet with capabilities to service, support, and repair computing devices like PCs, MACs, servers, printers, routers ands iPads” .

We gave the site a quick visit & were impressed with the simplicity with which they offer the services. Some subscription plans even offer an Antivirus with annual subscription. However, as compared to Mumbai’s cut-throat price of mere Rs. 300 per visit, eTechies Rs. 949 (+Tax) seems to be on the steeper end. We wonder how will eTechies price their models & vary it according to cities. And, in case it plans to enter Tier I & II towns the ball-game may be entirely different.

eTechies will succeed as the Small & Medium Businesses (SMB) will support them. Would you buy a subscription-based service for your Computers & peripherals?
