  • Three reasons why should delegates look forward to meet you at the summit.

Senior journalist/editor and writer with experience across policy, corporate affairs, social issues and IT/Internet. Serious inter-disciplinary junkie with a bias for interesting, out-of-the-box people. Close observer and chronicler of the Internet economy since 1996, with experience as Chief Technology Correspondent at Reuters in early years. Alleged by some to be a thought leader in evolution of the media and journalism in his blog and columns. “The horizontal is just a vertical taking a power nap” could be his slogan. One of India’s top 100 in Klout index for Twitter/Facebook – especially on news, politics, media and journalism. But for supposedly funny one-liners, really.

  • Three kinds of delegates you’re interested in meeting during the summit.

Entrepreneurs in the media space and Internet antiques
Internet crystal-gazers, with or without witches’ broomsticks. Interesting people
Specialists in business models and payment solutions in the digital economy

  • What in your view is the “Dawn of Digital Age”?

With mobiles, desktops, smart phones and tablets effectively connecting at least one billion people across the planet, the value of the digital age is now established. Emerging areas of social networking, social commerce and collaborative work through and on the cloud are enhancing the effect. Text, video, sound and pictures are completing the content experience, with interactivity, crowd-sourcing and always-on, real-time experiences enhancing them. The final piece in the jigsaws could be issues related to payment solutions and business models that need tweaking and fleshing out. As these find their feet — and the game shifts from connectivity to content, community and commerce, the Dawn of the Digital Age can be said to have arrived.

Mark your calendar folks, the summit is less than 2 weeks away. You absolutely have to listen to this man and engage with him at the Summit.
