Google launches Realtime Search

Google – the Search Giant has added a feature to its long list of offerings. This time they have rolled out a separate page called Google Realtime which is an extension to their already introduced real time search feature back in December. This feature by Google allows users to search for quick, latest and accurate search results from Social Networking sites like Twitter and Facebook where people share their whereabouts on a regular and real-time basis.

There are many features of this particular offering right from geographic refinements- where a user can find updates and news near a location, conversations view- where a user can easily follow a discussion, etc. The feature also updates the real-time content to Google Alerts where you can keep yourself informed about a particular topic. Dylan Casey, Product Manager, Google added saying, “You can access Realtime Search by typing www.google.com/realtime directly into your browser, or clicking the “Updates” link in the left-hand panel of your search results. Set up your Google Alerts at www.google.com/alerts.
