Komli which recently acquired Australia based PostClick has now announced its second round of funding from existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Helion Venture Partners, and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. The funding is to the tune of 6 million $ and will be used for growth and expansion across Asia Pacific. Komli is expected to invest in technology to build its performance marketing metrics and also it website metrics platform vizisense which is into Audience measurement. The company plans to incease its panel sizeĀ which shall provide more credible online metrics results for agencies and advertisers.
According to COO Prashant Mehta India continues to be the top priority market for Komli and currently it seems it has no plans to diversify beyond APAC region.
The space still has several players in Tyroo, Networkplay, Ad magnet and others and it still is early days to call the market winners with certainity. One thing is for sure though that with an aditional 6 million dollars on and above the 7 million early funding makes Komli one of the most heavily funded ad networks around.
