Jivox Ties Up With HT Media
Jivox the online video advertising company has announced an exclusive partnership with HT Media to deliver video ads on HT Media online properties. HT Media owns and runs HindustanTimes.com, LiveMint.com and DesiMartini.com. As per this agreement, all inventory available on HT Media online properties will be available on the Jivox video ad network.
This tieup surely gives Jivox access to premium content on the HT Media network and also access to premium audiences. Video ad network opportunity in India has been a competition between two players i.e. Vdopia and Jivox and both of them have been well funded. There are also ad networks like Komli and Networkplay who have added Video capability of late.
The real challenge in this segment would be attracting publishers that have a large reach via online video.
Nazara Ties Up With EA Mobile
Mobile games company Nazara Technologies has tied up with EA Mobile which is the mobile division of Electronic Arts to bring the EA’s brands into India. Besides for India this tie up also extends to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The deal is a big one for Nazara which hopes to bring in revenues of over 100 crores in the next 2 years through this alliance.
With 3G auction over and down with and with 3G expected to penetrate every nook and corner of India one can surely expect mobile gaming as a space to grow in India.
