Well you know a platform is useful and serious when government held organizations hop onto them. So Surprise Surprise one of the older entities in India which has served the communication space for many decades since independence has now acknowledged the power of twitter. Im talking about India Post which is now available on Twitter for suggestions feedback and brickbats.
One can follow India Post on @postofficeindia id and can also give your suggestions for improvement. The id is very active and responsive to user comments as well.
Though this id was created sometime back it started replying to users only in April end. This makes the first government held organization active on twitter. One wonders if the government itself would be active online one day and answer common man queries through the digital platform. What’s your take?
