In financial year, 2010-11, TradeIndia has signed a MoU with Korea International Trade Association (KITA) to help and strengthen the relations among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of both the nations.
Objective behind MoU
• Promote trade initiatives through Internet marketing with a focus on SMEs.
• Educating Indian SMEs about trading in Korean market.
• Overcome the challenges faced in trading.
As per the deal, TradeIndia and KITA will work together to promote Korean products in Indian market & promote Indian products in Korea through online and offline resources.
The online B2B space in India has seen some good tie ups and traction in the past year. There has been Alibaba which has entered the Indian market and Indiamart which has tied up with NDTV and also launched ATL campaigns. All in all B2B space is hotting up and all players are vying for a piece of the Indian SME pie.
