This is just in: Dow Jones & Co and Naukri.com have announced an exclusive agreement that will power The Wall Street Journal’s India Web site (http://india.wsj.com). As per this agreement Naukri.com job listings will feature on a new job section on the WSJ site. The jobs featured will be for candidates having looking for a CTC in the range of Rs 15 Lakh and above. The same job listings will also be available on a new mobile application to be launched soon in India.
In addition to the above WSJ will partner with Naukri to create a co-branded newsletter for job-seekers and recruiters within the Naukri.com resume database and to be integrated with the relevant sections of Naukri.com.
The soon to be lauched mobile application would have job related content powered by Naukri. On the occassion of this partnership Mitya New, Managing Director, Dow Jones India said “Our readers rely on the Journal for news and information to make business and personal decisions every day, and the new job listings and related content will enhance that experience and allow us to serve our readers even better.”
This tie up will definitely end up benefitting naukri.com as WSJ is highly revered and read by the C level and director level community in India and the world over. Im sure WSJ India would be a platform where naukri would be able to find folks with 10+ years of experience in their respective fields. These experienced candidates are by far the most expensive to source for a jobsite and hence this partnership makes sense for Naukri.
