Tyroo On A Tie Up Spree – Partners Yatra & IndiaInfoline


Tyroo the ad network from the SITG group which was invested in by Yahoo has been on a tie up spree off late. Tyroo has tied up with Yatra to exclusively promote and sell Designated Advertising Space on Yatra.com. Makemytrip too had tied up with another ad network in Networkplay to sell their ad inventory.

It seems travel sites are in search of alternative revenue and have thought its better to outsource the sales of ads rather than do it inhouse. Seems like a win situation for ad networks if you ask me.

The other tie up that Tyroo has done is an important one with Indiainfoline. Indiainfoline is a known resource for financial analysts and withe the budget to be announced on 26th February its page views are bound to rise. Tyroo holds the exclusive rights for the marketing and advertising on the budget property on Indiainfoline.com.

This does bolster the inventory that tyroo holds atleast for the all important budget announcements. Wonder why we see more of publisher tie up announcements rather than advertising deals being cracked by ad networks. I guess advertisers are still to storm their way into digital advertising..
