No doubt we all have become die hard users of Google services. Plenty of reasons for this. Some of which being free, good and reliable service, easy-to-use and clutter free interface, speed, cutting edge innovation and what not. As if all this was not enough, Google India now wants to help you with your website which again is yet another free service.
Named as the Google Site Clinic, any website that is submitted here will be analyzed by the Google Team and the website owner will get constructive advice on accessibility and improvements in return. All this advice if put to work, will definitely help you increase your website’s visibility in the Google Search results.

You may ask what’s the point in increasing the visibility in search results… my friends / clients know about my website and they will visit the same. Here, you are missing out on something: If you rank better in the Google Search results for a particular term then obviously people will tend to click the result that links to your website.
For eg. lets say you have a Gymnasium in an area called XYZ and a website for your Gym. Now if people search for Gym in XYZ and your website is the first result then they will click on the first result for sure. The outcome: you have some more (new) business without any advertisement at all! Had it been the case that your website doesn’t appear in the first results page at all… then you lose out on that potential extra business!
How to submit your website to the Google Site Clinic?
All you need to do is just fill in all the information on the form here. Some basic requirements for this are that your website should be already registered on the Google Webmaster Tools (which is again a free service). Submissions will be accepted till the 20th of Jan, 2010. So hurry, submit your website now.
What will be the selection criteria?
Due to the sheer number of submissions that are going to happen, all the websites won’t obviously be reviewed by Google. One important criteria your website should meet is the quality guidelines.
Google will also feature a few websites that make to the Analysis team on their official blog.
