We had reported that Sunil Nair – CEO of Nautanki.Tv had resigned and now we have official confirmation from Hungama Digital Media that indeed Sunil has moved on. Hungama has sent us the following updates on his reasons to exit.

Commenting on his decision, Sunil Nair said, “Over the past few years, we have created some exciting propositions for Nautanki.tv on the video platform business. Since the time Hungama took charge, we have built expertise in several areas, especially when leveraging on the strengths of the parent company in the digital entertainment space. However, I’m now taking a sabbatical to spend quality time with my family and near ones. I’m confident that the current team at Nautanki is well placed to run the business smoothly. I wish them good luck in the years to come.”

In the interim Nautanki.tv would be managed by Siddhartha Roy who is the COO of Hungama’s consumer and allied businesses would be taking care of the affairs of Nautanki.tv. Siddhartha Roy was previously with Bigadda.com which had a big video component as well so his experience should come in use.
