Happy New Year & Have An Awesome 2010!

2010 or Twenty10 the way its being called is here and we at WATBlog wanted to wish all our readers a great and prosperous New Year!!

2009 was awesome for us and not without reason! We achieved the following milestones in the last year!

Over 1 million unique visitors in 2009 (By year end we were touching 1.5 lakh unique visitors a month)

We crossed over 8 million page views in the year (By the year end we were touching 1 million page views a month)

We crossed 2000 RSS subscribers

We crossed 800+ email readers

We crossed 2000 twitter followers

We crossed 1000 sms subscribers

We crossed 800 Facebook fans

We also made revenues during the year Though we need to work hard to getting WATBlog profitable

We also added a wide range of bloggers. Over 15 Bloggers contributed regularly to WATBlog in 2009.

We also conducted WATBlog Panels and WATBlog Wednesdays in 2009 and many of them were really appreciated by you folks!

2009 was also the year WATMedia Pvt Ltd i.e. the company that runs WATBlog attained profitability! Yes WATConsult our social media arm helped us turn the corner as far as profitability is concerned.

We would like to thank all our readers for all their love, support, critical feedback and in some cases harsh abuses as well. We have learnt a lot from our readers and would want them to continue sharing their views, compliments and brickbats with us at all times.

2010 Plans

Our 2010 plan is to become far more serious about WATBlog than we have ever been before. We shall venture more aggressively into covering Digital media in India. Expand our content spread even further and also look at building a profitable business in this niche. You should expect more stories, events and interesting product enhancements and new launches to WATBlog in 2010.

Yet again we hope all of you have a rocking and prosperous 2010!
