Well if you are one of those with a cool but dead chinese phone then don’t throw your phone just yet. This is because non IMEI phone can be revived by assigning an approved IMEI number to it.
This is called the GII (Genuine IMEI Implant) program. One needs to pay a fee of Rs.199 and one’s phone can get legalized.
