BSE Revamps Site, To Make It Available In Other Regional Languages

BSE from a long time has been revamping its site by beta-testing cleaner and useful interface for its site. The changes have been made live on homepage but are yet to be furnished on to inner pages. The new interface shows more information than just plain stock quotes. It also launched the website in Hindi and Gujarati some time back to offer service to diversified set of investors.

Now it will be launching the site in other regional languages like Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Punjabi. It is unknown whether they are doing it under pressure from recent spat of attacks from MNS, a regional political party. These changes although will find limited usages as majority of financial investors are well versed in Hindi or English or Gujrati.

NSE has been on a revamp mode too as it re-aligned its portal with various features and has also been making waves through its social media initiatives. These online initiatives are also proliferating due to the growing competition between stock exchanges to corner trading volumes by inducing greater awareness.

Increase in online stock trading is also witnessing a similar increase in online stock research and social investing tools. Google recently revamped its financial portal whereas sites like Rediff Finance and Stockezy have been attracting users through their niche features. It is only a matter of time when the action shifts to mobile when 3G is made available in India as it allows streaming quotes and superior access to financial trading.
