Get ready for some Social media marketing tricks as HootSuite, one of the professional Twitter clients has added support for Twitter lists. The service will now support Facebook & LinkedIn too. Earlier HootSuite was primarily a Twitter client but seems to have mirrored integration approach adopted by other Twitter clients.
The action seems to be heating up to capture pro social users as many social applications ramp up their services with major updates and features. Earlier Seesmic announced Windows native Twitter application and TweetDeck also included support for Twitter lists.
HootSuite support for Twitter lists is obvious but the integration of Facebook and LinkedIn will surely help it inch forward with pro users looking at better free tools to manage online reputation. HootSuite is providing Facebook integration through Ping.fm, social network pinging service.
The scheduling feature of HootSuite will come as a major boost for Facebook profile managers as they now will be able to schedule their updates easily. The support for Facebook will surely be enhanced as Facebook recently started supporting searching of status updates.
