YouTube Direct – Facilitates free content sourcing for Media companies from YouTube
YouTube has been mentioned on news channels for a long time due to appearance of many ground breaking videos on its site. Now, YouTube has found a way for its users to publicize content by introducing YouTube Direct which allows media companies to request, review and rebroadcast YouTube clips directly from YouTube users.

So how do users submit their videos?
Media companies would be allowed to build customized versions of YouTube’s uploading platform, so that users can submit their videos with just few clicks and get heavy exposure for their content. The videos shared with media companies are still owned by the YouTube users and reside on its repository too.
This certainly looks good for a lot of citizen journalists currently active on YouTube as they can now attain greater exposure in media with their content. At the same time media companies will have a lot of freedom to choose free & exclusive content from YouTube in a fast & regulated manner.

Google cracks down on Adwords Scammers
Google certainly has made online advertising easy for even small time publishers. This has resulted in a lot of small advertisers in its kitty with frequent Ad campaigns making it difficult for it to monitor scam related links in the advertisements.

Google has thus started a crack down on all the fraudulent advertisers in a way to protect its business from any future allegation as currently it’s happening with scam bugged offers on Facebook. Google has now decided to immediately disable any account found in violation of its Ad policies thus reducing time lag in containing further damages to searchers.
Currently many fraudulent advertisers take part in phishing and malware attacks by bidding high on many Google keywords (Adwords). They profit by installing malwares on visitors PC or phishing them with a look-alike site in visiting links. Google is turning to be a home ground for web attackers as all advertisements in searches are highly trusted by general users. This crackdown would perhaps help Google in retaining the trust of its users.
