Last week was an interesting one at WATBlog with earnings results coverage of quite a few companies like Bharti Airtel, HT Media, Idea Cellular, Sify and Cyber Media. We also reported on the social networking scene in India with Orkut Stopping Migration To Facebook and also Orkut launching the New Orkut interface. We also interviewed Rahul Kulkarni – Product Manager – Orkut.com on orkut’s plans and the new look.

On the mobile front Opera Mini Crossed 35 Million Users, and 3G Auction dates fixed on January 14. On the tie ups front  Bigflix tied up with Hulu and Komli Tied Up with Artivision. Funding announcement included Vdopia Raising $4 Million From Nexus. We also interviewed Saurabh Bhatia, Co-Founder, Vdopia – On The Utilisation Of Their Series-A Funding.

Finally we also covered a few key events like Nasscom Product Conclave and 3G India – 5th International Conference.

All in all an action filled week. Have a look below:
