Opera the browser company which is more popular for its mobile browser Opera Mini has announced that the Mini has crossed more than 35.6 million users in September 2009 all around the world.
This is an increase of 11.5% month on month for Opera mini, as well as an increase of over 150% year on year.
Opera mini also announced the top 10 countries as per usage for september and they are: Russia, Indonesia, India, China, Ukraine, South Africa, United States, United Kingdom, Poland and Vietnam.
As one can see India ranks 3rd in the above list.
Here are some India specific statistics for September 2009.
* Page-view growth since September 2008: 202.6%
* Unique-user growth since September 2008: 61.4%
* Page-views per user: 339
* Gmail is back on the list after a 2-month absence, and My Opera is back on the list after a 1-month absence.
* Yahoo, which is usually at position 3 or 4, took a big drop down to position 7.
