iXiGO Partners With Air Valid For User-Generated Ratings In Flight Searches

iXiGO has announced its partnership with Air Valid to display user generated airline ratings on its International flight search results. This tie-up will help users of flight search engine to know the quality ratings of International airlines.
Air Valid has an international presence with dedicated portals for many regions. It also has aggregation data for many international airlines around the world. The international portal has Indian presence at [www.air-valid.in] launched only a few months ago.
Rajnish Kumar, Co-Founder & CTO added, “Our user analytics shows that passengers do not make choices solely driven by price, specially for international travel. Factors like on-time performance, comfort, seat-spacing, level of service and cleanliness vary from one airline to the other, influencing the choice of airline, specially on competitive routes where fares are similar across carriers.”
Indian airline industry is witnessing influx of many foreign airline and increase in fleet count on International routes. This tie-up will help iXIGO users decide the quality factor of different airline much before booking tickets. This can also become a great value addition for iXIGO to offer its users as Airline Travellers now-a-days give more weightage (reeling under baggage stealing & flight delays) to quality than just low cost fare.
The tie-up is currently for International flights but could also power domestic flights with content accessible from Air Valid’s Indian portal. iXIGO could also integrate various other features from this partnership as Air Valid recently launched eezeer, a travel based Social Network.

@ yes the rankings would interest consumers as it is done for international flight routes where customers pay high rates.The ranking & review could also become a sort of redressal system for consumer complaints.
