Burrp Revamps Site – Adds All Lifestyle Options

The last we heard of burrp was when it got acquired by Network18’s arm Infomedia18. Now it seems burrp has transformed itself into a new avatar few months after that acquisition. They have revamped their look (which was already pretty good if you ask me) and also they have expanded their content focus to include several lifestyle options.

So whats new at burrp!?

New Categories – Shopping, Active Life, Local Services, Health and Medical and Movies

The two interesting additions are Active Life which lists details of swimming pools, tennis courts, bowling facilities, adventure sports organizers, dance classes, golf courses etc and Health and Medical Services which lists ambulance services , chemists & medical stores , dentists ,  doctors , hospitals,  nutritionists , OB/gynecologists etc

New Features Added

Enhanced Search – When you have a huge database of listings then search become even more important. Keeping this in mind Burrp has launched enhanced search which does a better job of showing relevant results

Map Integration –  This is a great feature as it not only provides accurate location of lifestyle hotspots but one will also have directions from point A to point B.

All in all burrp seems to be expanding its scope to include complete lifestyle listings. Now as a part of Infomedia18 we can surely expect a more concentrated effort on monetization as well as more push on the offline aspects as well.
