Credence Capital Joins Social Investing Bandwagon – Ties Up With Stockezy

The Indian Social Investing space finally seems to be attracting attention in general. IIM Lucknow based Credence Capital appears to be adapting itself to Web 2.0’s new environment by recently tying up with Stockezy.

The tie-up would be for providing Investing advice through weekly and fortnightly newsletters to Stockezy members. The newsletters will explain market insights and discuss trading strategies with the financial investor base in India. They would consist of multiple trading strategies to benefit investors with varying risk appetite.

The partnership as such is not limited to newsletters as Credence Capital would also answer the queries of investors through their profile and would post Stock Picks on Stockezy.

Tushar Makhija, CEO – Stockezy commented on this association, “In a time when there are numerous tipsters ready to swindle the novice investor of their hard earned money, this initiative by the students of IIM-L and Stockezy to come forward and create an Online platform to educate and empower the new Investors would highly benefit the Online Social Investing Eco-System in India. The investing knowledge from Credence Capital would not only help the investor in avoiding risk but would surely help them to Increase their returns.”

Stockezy is a Social Investing portal serving a niche area of Social investing in India through its array of services like social networking and Twitter like service. Many of the big sites likeMoneycontrolET focus on providing news and other portfolio based services but do not participate in social investing conversations. In US, services like MarketGuru and SocialPicks serve the similar audiences and have found large success in the Social investing arena.

Credence Capital, a Student based fund out of IIM – Lucknow has been very successful in their investing ideology and thus would be looking at ways to advice the investors to gain from their expertise. The partnership may also help in empowering investors with correct investing knowledge and enabling Investing attitude amongst the masses.

Online Financial portals in India are still to come out of age old concepts to allow better participation of investing audience to help understand the markets better. We hope that Web 2.0 also helps in empowering the investors through a powerful blend of Social media and Online financial services.
