About Founders: The company is founded by Sunny Balijepalli Founder & CEO who is a Serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Half.com (an e-commerce site acquired by eBay), Ketan Sanghvi Co-Founder & COO and Phiroze Havaldar Co-Founder.
Funding Status: Institutional venture funding through funds such as Sherpalo Ventures, First Round Capital
WAT’s HOT: Some cool features of Zoomin are no limits on free storage, no need to make purchases to continue to store photos, download originals for free at anytime and one can export to other community sites like Flickr and Picasa. One can also share photos through an ‘invite-only’ with public security settings to control who sees your photos. Another good feature is the order online and pay by cash at any mobilstore as they have tied up with MobileStore for collections.
WAT’s NOT: There are over 2 dozen such services. Look up this presentation we made which showases many such services. Also services like facebook have become default photo sharing platforms so the core value is photo printing and delivery. Delivery and service becomes the only USP when there is so much clutter in a space,
