WWW: WAT Weekly WrapUp 18th-23rd August

Last week we saw one of the biggest acquisitions in the Indian travel space with Travelocity acquiring Travelguru. The comments on our posts rumored the acquisition anywhere between 12 million to right upto 66 million. We feel if its 12 million its a major disappointment for the investors. The other big story was actually WATBlog Panel being held at Eximius on Ecommerce where we discussed the recent RBI regulation which is getting a lot of flak via comments on this post. There were quite a few announcements with youtube launching hindi version, BCCL launching timescontent, orkut officially announcing promote feature and more.. On the startup side MVP announced its new set of 10 startups and we started our saturday startup review series..
