Saturday Startup Review: Ayojak – Your Event Manager

This is part of an ongoing startup review series supported by our sponsors Sun Startup Essentials.

India is an eventful country be it cities or towns there are innumberable conferences, meets, seminars, summits and even get togethers. Given that many of these are organized via email its a pity that India still lacks an online event registration and managing tool. So here comes which aims at providing exactly this service.

One sentence description: Ayojak provides easy to use online event management software solutions.

WAT’s HOT: Well the product is by far the most comprehensive event management tool launched for the Indian markets. It has everything that one could ask for from an event management tool even though its recently launched. Some features that we loved were ability to login with third party ids like google yahoo etc. The ability to add youtube videos, flickr pictures and slideshare videos is also amazing value.

WAT’s NOT: Frankly from a product perspective Ayojak is a clear winner. The problem is that it faces competition from the likes of eventbrite which has been around for sometime. Also it needs to win the trust of both event organizers and attendees when it comes to paid events. The big challenge will be one of scaling and getting bigger event organizers to you ayojak as their event registration platform,
