Just checked it out and I need to say it’s truely awesome!
Its really a nice gadget.
I am waiting for the one which allows me to login to multiple accounts at same time.
Any such tool available?
For those who don’t have gadgets enabled yet, you can do so in Settings —> Labs. It should be the last item in the list. Happy Tweeting!
@ puneet
This Twitter gadget has feature to handle multiple twitter accounts. To enable that click on ‘reconnect’ in left hand side twitter box and follow the same procedure to connect other accounts.
To access your multiple twitter accounts scroll down the name field in home page(in gmail) of twitter gadget.
This was an awesome notification about a really nice implementation. Now if only they had numbers next to home, @user etc to show how many new items since it was last accessed…
Hmm, Safari 4.0.3 (5531.9) on Leopard gives ‘Your session is expired, please reload Gmail.’ I have done this, logged out/in, emptied the cache, and restarted the browser. Also, a Fluid Gmail app shows the same behavior (obviously, but noted). Works great in Firefox 3.5.2.
@joshrabinowitz you should enable accept cookies for your browser to use this gadget in Gmail.
You can also post to twitter using Gtalk. Add twitter@askme.im to your contacts and send your status update to it as a chat message.
@ c9 thanx for addition, I forgot to add that point.
@Mahesh There are many such services like ping.fm and even digsby messenger.
