Last week was one in which Rediff underwent a Major Revamp. We were one of the first to spot the same and report on it. We also interviewed Rediff Chairman Ajit Balakrishnan on the change of look. Besides for revamps last week we also discussed how mobile payments wouldn’t be affected that much by the credit card regulations by RBI. On the social media front mumbairains caused havoc on twitter and Google Reader became more social by aping twitter also Google Friend Connect added hindi capability and integration with orkut . We looked closer at home with Rural Mobile Subscribers touching 100 million and its mvas opportunity and also at news stories about MTNL looking for franchisees for 3G. There was also news on acquisition when 9.9 Mediaworx Acquired iGovernment.in.
