Facebook is being aggressive by taking facebook beyond its own platform. So if facebook connect has been a success story for the social networking giant it has taken one more step towards getting its users to integrate their sites with Facebook. Facebook has addedFanbox widget via which the owner of a fanpage can embed a widget on his/her website or blog and attract his followers, readers, subscribers into joining their fanpages.

Why is this going to attract more users?
If facebook connect was successful this new feature of fanbox would be even more successful as even standalone bloggers, webmasters, corporates who have no knowledge of coding can embed this widget easily on their websites. It also is a great tool for brands to create fan pages on facebook and have an widget on their website. Celebrities can follow suit as well.
