Last week was one that brought out the power of social media in a controversy. Yes Im talking about the Iran controversy and the role played by social media in it. Besides for the power of social media last week was also one where 3G finally got its auction price fixed, though at double the earlier price. It was also a week which saw Opera announce unite – A browser that makes your computer a server.

On the mobile front the government banned imports of non IMEI phones and airtel to sell unlocked iPhones in India. On the tie ups front boku the mobile payments provider launched in India with Airtel.
