Valuenotes Inks Distribution Deal With Dalal Street Journal

Valuenotes.com, a respectable Financial analysis portal has announced a distribution tie-up with Dalal Street Investment Journal.

The tie-up would be for Pop-Stocks, subscription based service currently provided by Dalal street journal.

The partnership would see Valuenotes distributing Pop-Stock product to its subscribers. Pop-Stocks is an investment advisory service giving SMS alerts on scripts and markets daily with follow ups during the trading hours.

This product would be available at a discount to Valuenotes subscribers. Currenlty Dalal street charges Rs.2000 for 3 months service, the same could not be ascertained for Valuenotes.Valuenotes in my sense would only be earning affiliate commission for every sale.

Many financial investment portals have cropped up off lately.New sites like rediff moneywiz, Bixee finance, Guruji finance apart from established players like ET and Moneycontrol has made investment portal segment a lot crowded.

This tie-up deal seems to be a no brainer as many broking houses already provides free stock recommendation alerts to  their clientele. The deal would fail to increase subscribers to site as many stock market fanatics are still not comfortable with the idea of paying money for stock recommendations.

The deal would have brought significant value for Valuenotes and its subscribers had they made the recommendation free for its subscribers by some arrangement.
