Rajshri Media To Launch RajshriMobile.com & RajshriTamil.com Soon
You are reading it here first: Rajshri Media is soon to launch RajshiMobile.com and RajshriTamil.com(sites still not live). According to our sources RajshriMobile.com would be a CRBT download site and content would be created by Rajshri Media itself. While RajshriTamil.com as the name suggests would focus on video content in Tamil and would be on the lines of the current Rajshri Media site.
Both these sites are currently work in progress and are expected to launch within a months time.
RajshriMobile – Rajshri’s foray into mainstream mobile VAS
Rajshri has dabbled with mobisodes, games around movies and other mobile vas driven opportunities as well but the launch of rajshrimobile.com and crbt’s (caller ring back tones) puts Rajshri in the mainstream vas space competing with the likes of mauj, hungama and onmobile. Rajshri was earlier working in collaboration with these players to launch several mobile products.
Rajshri Tamil – First step towards a vernacular video foray
Rajshri Tamil would be Rajshri’s foray into vernacular online video and we expect more sites like malayalam, telegu and other regional content sites to follow as well. As the internet grows the importance of vernacular content is bound to grow.
Rajshri Media which is very active on the online and mobile scene with its online video site rajshri.com and mobile centric content like mobisodes which we have blogged about before has shown continued focus on the mobile and video space and the above two initiatives are just expansions within the focus area. We have written to Rajshri for more detailed information on their plans and are hoping for a reply soon.
