Well the Indian elections results are unfolding all across the web and if the leads and trends are anything to go by then UPA-Congress led alliance has won these elections comprehensively. We reported this week as to how the facebook and nautanki and zee news had got together to stream live results for the elections.
The other big sites covering the Indian election results are the official election commission site, Yahoo elections page and googles elections page which we blogged about here. Rediff to has an update page which has continuous updates on the elections.
And thats not all social media too is abuzz with the indian elections. Twitter which is supposedly thought to have a niche Indian audience has #indiavotes09 as the top trending topic even beating the likes of Star Trek. Though BJP might have lost on twitter they seem to be getting popular.

Now as most people will remember that BJP had spent a lot of their time, effort and money on wooing the online voter. And urban centres have been the ones where BJP’s performance has been severely dismal. We even had a poll running on WATBlog where we have asked users if they felt the online strategy will work for BJP. And the results embedded for all to see. The answer was neck and neck but 51% said NO it wouldnt work and I must say they have been spot on.

reason : Most of indians are blaiming bjp for 2 reason They support hindu fandamentalist and try to attract hindus, by giving them wrong assurance, most of hindus now realise why bjp supporting for communal issues rather than developmental issues.
2 ndly BJP has given many wrong assurance which can not be possible to fullfil any government like laptop, rice etc.
