eBay joins IPL bandwagon – IPL Merchandise On Sale At EBay

Just like HBO started HPL, its very own ‘Hollywood Premier League’ series on April 1st to run parallel with IPL, eBay India has become one hotspot destination for IPL 2009 merchandise.


eBay India has collaborated with branded companies like puma, Adidas and Reebok to bring fans from across the world a chance to access all IPL merchandise on the eBay India site: www.eBay.in/ipl.

Cricket lovers can buy IPL merchandise for all the eight teams. The merchandise is offered by eBay in association with Hot Muggs.

The merchandise includes funky products like T-shirts, caps, Car Flags, Fan Capes , Optical Caps, Mugs, badges, tattoos, wrist bands, backpacks, key chains and Expandable banners.

All these will certainly let fans dress like their favorite players and decorate their homes too with the attractive collectibles.

eBay India has tied up with Bollywood actress Preity Zinta’s Kings XI Punjab team too. Kings XI Punjab has set up a store http://stores.shop.ebay.in/Kings-XI-Punjab-IPL on eBay.

Coffee mugs featuring some of the Kings XI Punjab players including Yuvraj Singh, Brett Lee, Irfan Pathan and Sreesanth are available for Rs 250.

Mugs having Chennai Super Kings would be on sale for Rs 250 and Rs 300, respectively.

Delhi Daredevils shirts’  and caps  are also selling like hotcakes on eBay.

On the Money front, though, there is no exact profit margin calculated for the IPL merchandise, but good profits are still expected.

India might have lost opportunity to host IPL, but IPL clothing and collectibles will certainly help fans in India and all over the world feel close to IPL.
