Social networking evolved as a buzzword in the internet space and people made large network of friends via Facebook, Orkut, etc and they started spending more and more time making friends and spending time with them , but for everything there is next step.
Now the time has come for networking with intelligence, Zahdoo is a step in the same direction, Zahdoo has taken a step further and has bifurcated networking into Public and Private networking , It has many useful features like Task Scheduling and sharing , Collaboration of tasks and projects between family members,thus helping them to do work together on the list of todo’s .
Zahdoo has also the ability to create webpages with a click of a button and to share multimedia on the same and can be treated as a family website or a platform for a family to share events and important ideas .
Zahdoo has also added a pinch of intelligence in networking with the help of feature called ‘CADIE’ that will revolutionalize how people perceive , organize and use information and relationships. It also searches for a particular topic and gives the information present in the outside world and information relevant for the user.
Zahdoo had tried to put a step forward to mix intelligence with networking but will it be able to get a share of the pie as the market is in the hands of big players and Zahdoo has to fight hard for some share.
There are few key things where Zahdoo is on backfoot and need to improve upon them to help users to join and make a footprint in the networking space.
Site interface and description is complex and not easy for a layman to understand it can be made little bit simpler to help people understand it better. Demo screen’s are generally not self explanatory and users may not be convinced / informed from those screens. ‘ CADIE ‘ the backbone of the search and relevant context engine is not be able to suggest even for general searches like ‘lunch’ , ‘shopping’ etc ie it doesn’t give you information until you provide relevant data and it becomes a chicken and egg situation .
Zahdoo has to put some efforts for the betterment of the user interface and has to highlight its USP’s and should provide better demo to the users otherwise it will be just another social networking site lying somewhere in the web space.
